Block 23- Criss-Cross Applesauce by Laura Muir of Create Joy Project
The Criss-Cross Applesauce Block weaves half-square triangles and flip-corner units into a striking layered design. The overlapping diamonds and crosses create a sense of symmetry and motion, like petals spinning around a center.
Block 24- LMod Water Wheel by Sarah Thomas of Sariditty
Inspired by the steady turn of a water wheel, this block blends half-square triangles and flip-corner units to capture both flow and structure. Its crisp geometry creates a sense of movement and balance, making it a striking addition to your Blockheads journey.
Supplies:
The cost of the class WILL INCLUDE pattern, you provide the fabric.
Sewing machine in working order
Basic quilting supplies
- Sewing Machine in good working order
- Thread
- Seam Ripper
- Scissors
- Cutting Mat 18"x24" minimum
- Rotary Cutter
- Ruler min. 24" long
- Pins
NOTE: The classroom will have irons available for pressing
Project Supplies:
- Fabrics from your stash, we are only making one of each block
- Small travel iron
- Wool pressing mat
The doors will open at 9:30 am and class will begin promptly at 10 am. Please come early so that you have time to set up your sewing space!
Bring a brown bag lunch... we have a refrigerator and microwave for your usage or we can order out.
