Month 11
Block 21- Bowtie Ballet by Vanessa Goertzen of Lella Boutique
The Bowtie Ballet Block combines four-patch units and half-square triangles to create a graceful, rhythmic design. The subtle interplay of shapes forms an elegant bowtie motif, giving the block a sense of playful movement and charm reminiscent of dancers in motion.
Block 22- Lucky Charm by Stacy Iest Hsu
The Cat’s Cradle Block combines two types of half-triangle units to create a balanced yet dynamic design. The crisp angles and layered shapes evoke the playful twists and turns of a cat’s cradle, with the half-square triangles and half-rectangle triangles combining to add a sense of movement and depth.

The cost of the class WILL INCLUDE pattern, you provide the fabric.
Sewing machine in working order
Basic quilting supplies
- Sewing Machine in good working order
- Thread
- Seam Ripper
- Scissors
- Cutting Mat 18"x24" minimum
- Rotary Cutter
- Ruler min. 24" long
- Pins
NOTE: The classroom will have irons available for pressing
Project Supplies:
- Fabrics from your stash, we are only making one of each block
- Small travel iron
- Wool pressing mat
The doors will open at 9:30 am and class will begin promptly at 10 am. Please come early so that you have time to set up your sewing space!
Bring a brown bag lunch... we have a refrigerator and microwave for your usage or we can order out.
