Month 10
Block 19- Wholehearted by Jackie MacDonald of Sweetfire Road
The Wholehearted Block combines scrappy half-square triangles to form a playful heart shape. The lively arrangement evokes warmth and charm, giving this block a cheerful, spirited feel fitting perfectly into the vibe of Sweetfire Road.
Block 20- Cross Training by Jenelle Kent of Pieces to Treasure
The Cross Training Block combines squares with three corner units to create a striking, interlocking design. The crisp lines and repeating shapes give the block a sense of order and movement, reflecting strength and balance.
Supplies:
The cost of the class WILL INCLUDE pattern, you provide the fabric.
Sewing machine in working order
Basic quilting supplies
- Sewing Machine in good working order
- Thread
- Seam Ripper
- Scissors
- Cutting Mat 18"x24" minimum
- Rotary Cutter
- Ruler min. 24" long
- Pins
NOTE: The classroom will have irons available for pressing
Project Supplies:
- Fabrics from your stash, we are only making one of each block
- Small travel iron
- Wool pressing mat
The doors will open at 9:30 am and class will begin promptly at 10 am. Please come early so that you have time to set up your sewing space!
Bring a brown bag lunch... we have a refrigerator and microwave for your usage or we can order out.
